Lewers: Penrith Regional Gallery sits at the centre of one of the most ambitious cultural organisations in New South Wales. Part of Penrith Performing and Visual Arts, alongside The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Q Theatre and the Penrith Conservatorium, Lewers is a gallery with a permanent collection, a serious exhibition program and a passionate local community.
We are looking for a Gallery Manager who leads with vision and lands with rigour. Someone who understands the challenges and opportunities of Western Sydney, and the role that arts and culture can play in the growth of our region.
You will lead the curatorial and programmatic direction of Lewers, manage and develop a committed team, steward relationships with artists and communities, and work as a key member of the PP&VA Executive Leadership Team. You will have real authority and real accountability. You will be supported by an organisation that is in a period of genuine momentum.
